It helps glide the product and you need very little unless you want more coverage. Please please redesign your pump. It is terrible. Thank you Amazon for the free return.

I finally used my last one and opened the new one and the pump will not work and they changed the design so the old pump will not fit on the new bottle. Seller, I can't find a way to contact you but can you replace pump? This is an expensive product for the pump not to work.

I love the product, but if I can't use it, it is worthless!

Works really well to cover redness, definitely not full coverage but it is buildable. Takes your skin problems from stop and stare territory to noticeable under closer inspection territory. I've worn it to bed with no issues, I actually feel like it is soothing to the skin. Doesn't transfer easily. It applies much much better with a brush than with fingers. Nobody can tell when I'm using it, which is important to me as a guy! My only complaint is that it is expensive. A godsend for acne sufferers.
