Classic chronograph styling with contemporary features, the Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Chronograph 18k Gold-Plated Watch features a brushed and polished 18k gold-plated stainless steel case and a band that closes with a fold-over safety clasp. The stainless steel case provides an ideal foundation for this watch's rotating bezel with minute markers and its attractive blue dial. The dial has luminous hands and hour markers, and three subdials at the two, six, and 10 o'clock position. There's also a magnified date window at the four o'clock position to help you keep tabs on your busy schedule. For added style, Invicta included a large crown and two bold buttons on the right-hand side of the case. Other features include precise Swiss quartz movement, a durable flame-fusion crystal, and water resistance to 660 feet (200 meters).

I have owned many Invicta watches in the past and to be perfectly honest, far too often I had been disappointed with the level of quality in those watches. So much so in fact that I simply stopped purchasing the Invicta brand. That said when I viewed pictures of this model and and saw it advertised at a very reasonable price, I was once again lured into purchasing another Invicta based solely on it's looks. After receiving the watch, in spite of being very impressed with the esthetics, I thought I had been saddled with yet another dud. When I tried to use the chronograph I assumed that it had already been activated because the large sweeping second hand was already in motion. I then hit the upper right hand button believing that this would stop the count (the motion of the large sweeping second hand) but it did nothing. Then I thought that maybe if I hit the "B" button (Lower right) it would send the second hand back to the home position (12 o clock) once again nothing happened. It wasn't until after playing around with it for several minutes and then finally reading the manual (which I believe is somewhat poorly written) that I finally came to the realization that this was not a really common movement. The large sweeping second hand has absolutely nothing to do with the chronograph function but was merely just a normal second hand like any other second hand on a quartz watch without a chronograph function. Only the small dial at 9 o clock and the small dial at 6 o clock are part of the Chrono and after zeroing both of them as per the instructions, everything on the watch appeared to work flawlessly. So I guess I would say in summary that although it's too early to tell how well this obviously cheap movement will hold up over time, as a piece of jewelry it is a gorgeous watch which looks to be a great deal for the price, so yes I would recommend this watch to anyone who likes massive watches with a bit of bling and has a wrist big enough to support it. I am 6'2" tall and have 8-3/4 inch wrists and still had to remove two links to end up with a near perfect fit. Your friends will certainly notice it on your wrist and most will probably compliment you on a great looking watch!

The watch looks great but there are some problems. I can't adjust the date window. The operating instructions say to (1) unscrew the crown, (2) pull the screw out to the first stop, and (3) adjust the date. When I pulled the screw out to the first stop (it only has one -- there is NO SECOND STOP) it allows me to only set the time. It worked this way on the initial delivery so I sent the watch back and requested a replacement. The replacement arrived quickly (Amazon is really good about this) but the replacement watch would still not allow me to adjust the date window since the first stop only allowed me to set the time once again. Perhaps this is how all the examples of this model work but if that is the case, why put a date window on the watch if you can't reset the date to the correct day? I gave it 3 stars for the reason that the quartz movement keeps pretty accurate time. I purchased this to replace another Invicta dive watch with the automatic movement which kept lousy time (lost 20 minutes every 12 hours). The chronograph function is useless and appears to be little more than window dressing -- works OK but won't be used much.

Cannot beat the price and do Not know how they can do it at this price. This model would be 500$ I would not be surprised. Just look at the recent gshock model all plastic made costing a few hundred $. Here you get a full stainless steel watch, 18K gold (plated of course): so the color is crazy under the sun! It does not look cheap at all. And the navy dial/ bezel color combination makes it look like a very elegant timepiece.

This is my 2nd Invicta watch. I purchased with my eyes wide open, but it is a massive watch and heavy. It is eye catching. Just not sure when I will wear it yet. It is heavy and since probably 70 per cent of the time I will be on my laptop at work, I don't want to scratch up the finish as the weight of the watch my alter my wrist motion.
I do have skinny wrists and I did have to take out 4 links. Probably sill need to make a micro-adjustment at the clasp.
If you like ostentatious-like watches, this is it. I'm glad I have it in my collection, but I probably won't wear it as much as some of my other watches.
