This product is excellent, don’t buy the cheaper Oribe product called Straight Away, spend the extra money, it’s worth it. My hair is thick and unruly. My fingers catch in it if I try to finger style it after blow drying, even with lots of conditioner..... until Supershine. Worked it in well and my fingers glide right through my hair even after blow drying... styling is a breeze... isn’t that what it’s all about?

The first experience I had with this product was earlier this month at a new salon. My regular stylist had an emergency so I had to quickly book a haircut at a high-end salon. I did not buy it at the salon thinking it was overpriced and surely I could get the same results using my stuff at home (it's all in the cut, right?) Of course, my hair would not cooperate when I styled it with my regular styling products. So I took a chance and ordered it from Amazon as I had a credit from another item that I returned. When it arrived, the box was smashed and it did not have a foil top over the opening so I was prepared to return it. I decided to use it once to see, if I would get the same results, I had in the salon. My hair is thick, wavy and generally difficult to style. It likes to stick out in all directions.
This stuff is absolutely incredible. I mean wow!!, just wow!!! I used only a dime-size portion and my hair looks so great - just like it did when I left the high-end salon. This is an absolute first for me! This product made styling my hair so easy and it has stayed in place the entire day. Also, my hair just looks so shiny and healthy. I think this tube should last me at least 6 months or maybe more and so the price is reasonable. I have not tried the Oribe shampoo and conditioner (although they used those products on my hair at this salon too) as I started using the Maui products prior to buying this creme and after this salon visit. The gal who did my hair emphasized how important it is to use products that are sulfate, paraben, and silicone-free. I just picked the Maui products at Walmart. However, the Maui styling cream was absolutely useless for my hair. Good luck and I hope this product works for you!

I can't say enough good things about the ORIBE supershine cream. I don't usually bother with any fancy hair products, but once I tried a sample of this cream, I have not been able to live without it. I have thin hairs that frizz extremely easily in humidity, but this creme keeps them smooth and frizz free for much longer than any other product I've tried, while also leaving my hair soft and glossy instead of mildly greasy (which is what every other effective frizz product does to my thin strands). I highly, highly recommend this product to anyone with frizz problems; just brush it through the bottom 2/3 of your hair after showering. Oh, and did I mention that it smells absolutely amazing?

If this product was $10 dollars it'd be the best thing in the world. Since it's not, I'll be a bit pickier. I have mid back length, wavy hair that I air dry. I put this on half way dry, mid shaft to ends and very lightly smoothing fly aways. It is my favorite smoothing cream but I still end up putting a little oil on the tips after. That being said, I think I'm a repeat buyer mostly bc of the smell, which is amazing. Don't know how to describe it but I love it.
